The division in which your child will play is determined by the year in which he/she was born. Please refer to the following chart for divisions and 2010 registration fees.

Families registering 2 or more players will pay the full registration fee for the oldest player. The registration fee for each of the younger players will be discounted by 25%.

SMLA uses both in-person and mail-in/drop-off registrations, as follows:

In-Person Registration

Please visit the
home page for the time and location of the next in-person registration.
When registering in-person, please ensure you bring the following:

One registration fee cheque per player. (e.g. if registering 2 players, provide 2 separate cheques). Please refer to the chart above for current registration fees.

A $50.00 ’Volunteer’ cheque, post-dated to June 1, 2010 (1 per FAMILY). Please see information below regarding SMLA’s volunteer program.

Each player’s BC medical card - you will need to fill out the BC medical number on the registration form (new & returning players).

For new players only:
-
you will need to provide a photocopy of each registering player’s birth certificate. The BCLA requires each association to maintain ’proof of age’ records.

you will need to show ’proof of residency’. A recent utility bill (within 3 months) showing both your current address and the family name is sufficient.

refunds are subject to a $25.00 administration fee.

Cancellations prior to March 1st will receive a
full refund, less the $25.00 administration fee.

Cancellations between March 2nd and April 15th
will receive a 50% refund, less the $25.00
administration fee.

Cancellations after April 15th will not be
given a refund.

The
KidSport™ Fund is a program of Sport BC designed to
"remove the financial obstacles that prevent
underprivileged children from playing sport in British
Columbia". Each child aged 6 - 18 who applies is
eligible for up to $200 for one season of sport.
The grant is provided directly to the club or sport
organization. For

The objective of Let Kids Play Foundation is
to increase the health, enhance the
education and develop the skills of
low-income and underprivileged youth by
providing funds to enable them to
participate in organized sporting
activities. Each
child aged 17 and under who applies is
eligible for up to $200 for one season of
